Del Finius broke free from her mooring in strong winds and washed alongside
Caldecott road, with damage to its mast and several of the stays having
snapped, it was causing public danger. Police requested that the Lifeboat
crew removed the mast to prevent further damage to the vessel or continued
danger to the public. The vessel was then towed to a new mooring before the lifeboat returned to station refuelled and ready for service by 17:25.

19:44 Yarmouth Coastguard requested the South Broads assist in a search for a possible missing person on Breydon water, with personnel from Broads Truck performing a bank search, Broads ILB1 & Gorleston ILB arranged a search pattern, Whilst Gorleston ALB also joined in the search after nothing was found all units were stood down at 21:44. with both boats refuelled and ready for service by 23:30.
09/11/2007 Due to a predicted tidal surge Broads Truck & D-514 on standby at Normanhurst Fire Station Lowestoft. During the standby period the water level came as high as 1 foot over the highest part of the lifeboat station.

19:08 Yarmouth Coastguard requested Launch to reports of a person in the water.

14:54 Yarmouth Coastguard requested launch to search for a person reported missing from Waveney River Centre, Burgh St Peter. Broads ILB1 and Broads Truck responded. Once on scene at Burgh St Peter ILB2 was launched and both lifeboats started to search along river towards Beccles for the missing man, Following further information from Norfolk Police, the search was called off. Both lifeboats returned, being refuelled and ready for service by 17:00.

06:22 Yarmouth Coastguard requested that the South Broads lifeboats were dispatched to Somerleyton to assist the Ambulance service with an injured crewmember onboard a cruiser near Herringfleet. Broads ILB1 met the casualty vessel and escorted it to Somerleyton where the injured crewmember was landed into the hands of a waiting Ambulance. Both Broads units were then stood down to return to station, refuelled and ready for service by 07:40.
17/03/2007
14:38 Yarmouth Coastguard reported a capsized on Oulton Broad and requested that Broads ILBs 1 & 2 respond to assist. Once on scene the vessel was re-righted, and the occupants landed at Colemans Dyke, the Dinghy was towed to Clubhouse Jetty. Both lifeboats were refuelled and ready for service by 15:30.
